Federal Member for Wakefield, Nick Champion, officially opened more than $4.1 million of projects in the Light Regional Council area, funded through the Federal government’s Economic Stimulus Plan. Amongst many in the area, Kapunda Memorial Gardens “water wise” upgrade received $46,250 for drought tolerant plants and irrigation systems. A further $40,000 went to the restoration of Kapunda swimming pool.
