Childhood Cancer fundraiser success

A gala dinner to raise funds for the Childhood Cancer Association (CCA) was held at Adelaide Zoo recently, with many Mid North locals making the trip for the worthwhile cause.

Organised by the Nanny Diary founder and former Clare woman Casey Knight, whose parents Rob and Mandy still live in Clare, almost 120 guests enjoyed the evening, raising $14,394 for the charity.

Casey, who also studies medicine, said seeing  people suffering terminal illness first hand and the impact it had on families, along with the close bond she had developed through her nannying business The Nanny Diaries encouraged her to raise funds for the charity to help children.
