Hamley Bridge was a hive of activity on Monday when 143 entrants from the 11th National Veteran Rally roared into town.
Entrants travelled from Nuriootpa to Hamley Bridge, where they stopped at the sporting complex for lunch, provided by members of the primary school’s governing council.
The biennial week-long national rally was hosted by the Veteran and Vintage Motorcycle Club SA, with all bikes having to be pre 1919 to be eligible to partake.
Each day, the group will take on a new trail, starting at Nuriootpa and driving to surrounding towns, covering about 120kms a day.
