Balaklava High School oval is set to play host to well over a hundred centenarians when the 2017 National Veteran Vehicle Rally chugs into town on Wednesday, September 27.
Rally organiser, Peter Templer, said the cars and motorbikes will be gathering at the Balaklava High School oval, where entrants will have morning tea, following a drive from Clare via Blyth.
“The oval will be open to the public to give everyone a chance to see about 130 vehicles constructed prior to 1919 on the road, as they make their way to and from the oval,” he said.
“Everyone can also get up close and personal with the vehicles and drivers.”
Following morning tea, the vehicles will be driven to Martindale Hall via Auburn for an entrant only lunch before returning to Clare for a very special night-time display.
