The State Government will spend $690 million upgrading 91 primary and secondary schools across the state.
Three schools in the Electorate of Frome have been named to receive funding through the Building Better Schools program – Balaklava High School, Clare High School and John Pirie Secondary School in Port Pirie.
The schools will receive between $5 and $10 million each to be spent in consultation with the Government.
Schools have been selected and prioritised based on enrolments, population growth and their general conditions.
The Building Better Schools program has been identified through analysis of the Department for Education and Child Development’s (DECD) Asset Master Planning Analysis Tool, designed to determine departmental investment priorities.
