Well-known locals, Ben Ervin and James Rigby-Meth, have been ‘in training’ for their leg of the Queen’s Baton Relay as part of the upcoming Commonwealth Games.
The pair got into some light training last week, making sure they are prepared for their 200 metre stint in Angaston on Saturday, February 17.
“I’m starting at the Angaston oval while James will be running further along the main street,” Ben said.
“I only found out about a month ago that I was going to be in it – it’s an honour and I’m looking forward to it.”
