Two Wells set for second BP servo

TWO multi-million dollar service station development applications have been lodged with plans to build the sites within five kilometres of each other at Two Wells.

Incredibly, both will carry the BP logo, although with different owners.

A brand new site has been proposed on the Augusta Highway at the intersection of Middle Beach Road, with plans lodged by Masterplan on behalf of Stan Karalis, who manages the BP at Port Wakefield.

The Middle Beach road proposal is valued at $2 million and comprises retail sales, internal and external dining areas with vehicle parking areas.

South Australia’s Peregrine Corporation confirmed it was finalising plans for the redevelopment of the On The Run (OTR) in Two Wells valued at $2.5million.

The revamped site will create 15 new jobs.

The company is in the final stages of detailed design and will shortly call for expressions of interest and tenders from local construction contractors.

Some 50 jobs will be involved during the construction
phase.

The re-development of the Old Port Wakefield Road site will offer locals C-Coffee (locally roasted barista made coffee), a carefully curated range of supermarket essentials, OTR’s Eat range, Moe’s Hotdogs and Shakes, fresh squeezed Oh-J, 24 Hour Lotto, car wash facilities and
fuel.

All services will be open 24/7.

“We are delighted to confirm this exciting re-development of our site where the 15 new retail roles will be filled by the surrounding Two Wells community,” OTR business development manager, Philip Moir said.
