Knock, knock, knockin’ on Stephan’s door

WAKEFIELD Regional Council will continue lobbying for the green avenue of trees through Port Wakefield as part of the $90 million Augusta Highway duplication and overpass project, which has entered the land acquisition stage.

Speaking at a press conference on Monday, State Transport Minister, Stephan Knoll, confirmed discussions with landowners has begun, while consideration for council’s greenery requests will also be on the agenda.
