Police act on assaults

Local police were kept busy attending several domestic violence-related incidents last week and over the weekend. A 41-year-old Beaufort man was arrested and charged with alleged aggravated assault on Tuesday, November 16 in Balaklava. Police say the offence was against a former partner.
